Adam Acevedo is a black and grey realism tattoo artist specializing in high detail, custom work built around each client’s vision. His style is defined by strong contrast, smooth shading, and accurate, true to reference designs that translate seamlessly onto the body.
With a background in drawing and painting from an early age, Adam initially pursued architecture, developing a strong foundation in precision and structure. Seeking a more expressive path, he began tattooing at 15, self-taught and working out of his basement while refining his focus on black and grey realism. He later attended tattoo school in New York to strengthen his technical skillset, and continued his apprenticeship at Orpheus Tattoo Studio, where his work was elevated to a professional standard.
Adam approaches every project with a focus on composition, placement, and longevity. He works closely with each client to create pieces that are not only visually impactful, but built to hold their quality over time. His work is rooted in precision, purpose and intention creating tattoos that carry both weight and clarity.
